After watching the video about LCI approach, I have noticed that teachers have to be well training to apply innovative activities in the classroom in order to help their students to acquire and develop their English skills.

What is Learner Center Instruction?

It is a breakthrough approach that allows students to learn in an innovative way.

What is the main role of the teacher in LCI?

The teacher has to support the students' learning any time because they are learning inside and outside the classroom.

Explain the 4 key principles of student centered learning.

First, Teacher has to recognize the students' needs because they are the center of the learning, so he or she has to create a meaningful teaching environment where the students feel confident to acquire a second language. Second, the students learn on their own pace, so teachers have to be prepared for the challenges that they have to face in the classroom because some students are going to learn slowly but others are going to learn faster. Therefore, they have to pepared their teaching activities according to their students' needs. Third, this approach helps students to feel motivated to learn a second laguage inside or outside the classroom, so teachers have to be ready to increase their students' skills. The last one, the students play a direct role in their success, so the teachers have to involve them in the teaching-learning process in order to develop their skills positively.
