What is learner centered instruction (LCI)?

Is when we teachers are focus in the way of how students learn in anytime, anywhere , not just in class, it's centered by the interests and skills of the student.

What is the main role of the teacher in LCI?

Discovering or finding what are the main interest of all kinds of students. Even if some students have learning problems.

Explain the 4 key principles of student centered learning.

  1. Learning is personalized. It's when teachers begins to have a strong relationship with each student, Teachers can find out how the student is develoment their knowledges.
  2. Learning is Competency-based. Knowing what are the principals skills of the students the teacher has to find the way how can the student proceed in a better way with more interest and challenges.
  3. Learning happens anytime, anywhere. Students will discovered about themselves in their own environment and what's around them. They just don't learn in school, they learn in anytime, and anywhere.
  4. Students take ownership. Students will make their own success but teachers and students have to work together, we can not do decisions with grading what we think is good. we have to work for all students.
