What is learner centered instruction?

Learner centered instruction has its aim on the student, to make him/her develop some activities by himself/herself by using the new language this means that the student is who creates his/her own knowledge by experience.

What is the main role of the teacher in LCI?

The teacher's role is to work as a facilitator who helps the students with some tools to achieve their goals, the teacher have to recognize students' achievenments and give them rewards if possible when they do well.

Explain the 4 key principles of student centered learning.

1.- Personal learning, this means that every student can learn by its own.

2.- Competency, in this case the learning process is based in competences that students' have top develop.

3.- Learning never stops, this means that every day and every moment the student is learning it can be in calss or out classroom.

4.- Student's ownership, this means that students have to take responsability of learning and in this case think that what they learn is for them and they have to decide when to start learning and doing more difficult things.
